- Sujet
- Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a high molcular weight polysaccharide found in the extracellular matrix. It is also a component of synovial fluid where it acts as a lubricant. HA can be up to 25,000 disaccharide repeats in length. Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide which is an integral part of the gel-like substance of animal connective tissue that serves as a lubricanting and protective agent.
