Reacts with human insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) receptor. IGF-I receptor is a glycoprotein complex composed of two extracellular α subunits and two transmembrane β subunits. The transmembrane subunits play a role in tyrosine phosphorylation of several intracellular signaling proteins. IGF-I receptor is structurally and functionally similar to insulin receptor and is expressed on a variety of human hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells. 3B7 antibody does not cross react with human insulin receptor, it stimulates IGF-I and IGF-II induced cell growth and activates autophosphorylation of the IGF-I receptor β subunit. Profile of Jurkat Cells analyzed on a FACScan with Biotin Goat anti-mouse Ig (Cat. No. 553999) as 2nd step, and with SAV-PE (Cat. No. 554061) as 3rd step. CD221 expression (filled) and isotype control (dash lines)
