The H202-141 antibody reacts with CD98 (4F2, Ly-10), a heterodimer composed of an 80- kDa glycosolated heavy chain covalently linked to a 34- kDa light chain, which is reported to be involved in amino acid transport. H202-141 mAb detects high levels of antigen expression on activated lymphocytes and established cell lines and lower levels of expression on resting leukocytes.
