    Informations sur le produit
What can the Albumin Antibody ABIN2855392 be used for?
This polyclonal Albumin Antibody detects Albumin. The Albumin Antibody has been validated for various applications and can be used for the detection of Albumin and derivatives by Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections).
What validation data is available for this Albumin Antibody?
The Anticorps primaire is referenced in 4 publications and is characterized by a proven, very high reliability. It has currently 5 product images that show its performance in a variety of applications. The product is currently available in 100 μL quantity. Albumin Antibody for the detection of Albumin and derivatives.
What is the function of Albumin?
Albumin is a soluble, monomeric protein which comprises about one-half of the blood serum protein. Albumin functions primarily as a carrier protein for steroids, fatty acids, and thyroid hormones and plays a role in stabilizing extracellular fluid volume. Albumin is a globular unglycosylated serum protein of molecular weight 65,000. Albumin is synthesized in the liver as preproalbumin which has an N-terminal peptide that is removed before the nascent protein is released from the rough endoplasmic reticulum. The product, proalbumin, is in turn cleaved in the Golgi vesicles to produce the secreted albumin. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
