Peptide ELISA: 1/16000. Western blot: 0.3-1.0 μg/mL. Approx.150 kDa band observed in Human Brain (Cerebellum)lysates (calculated MW of 210 kDa according to NP_060142.2). The observed molecularweight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies. (Ref.3) Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
The TRPM7 (Transient Receptor Protein-PhosphoLipase C-Interacting Kinase) protein is a member of the ion channel proteins. It regulates the calcium concentration in cells, which is imperative for such functions as muscle contractions and neuronal firing. TRPM7, however, is unique among the TRP channel proteins because it is bi-functional. It not only controls ion channels but it also acts as a kinase, phosphorylating proteins.Synonyms: CHAK1, Channel-kinase 1, LTRPC7, Long transient receptor potential channel 7, Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 7
