HOXA9 (Homeobox protein A9, HOX1G) is a sequence-specific DNA binding transcription factor with a central role in both hematopoiesis and leukemia. HOXA9 is required for normal hematopoiesis and contributes to myeloid blood cell differentiation. High levels of HOXA9 expression in hematopoietic cells is a characteristic feature of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and may contribute to the development of this disease. Overexpression of HOXA9 markedly expands hematopoietic stem cells. HOXA9 antibody (pAb) was raised in a Rabbit host. It has been validated for use in Western blot, it has been shown to react with Human samples.
