Sox11 (SRY-box containing protein 11) is a member of a family of transcription factors containing an HMG DNA-binding domain. Sox11 is important for the development of nervous system. Sox11 is upregulated in a variety of tumor types, including medulloblastomas, gliomas and epithelial ovarian tumors. In B cell lymphomas, information regarding the expression of Sox11 aids in diagnosis and prognosis. Sox11 also functions as a tumor suppressor in glioma-initiating cells. Sox11 antibody (pAb) was raised in a Rabbit host. It has been validated for use in Western blot, it has been shown to react with Human samples.
