- Sujet
- MED8, a component of the Mediator complex, is a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. It plays a role as a target recruitment subunit in E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complexes and thus in ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. MED8 has three isoforms with MW 19 kDa, 29 kDa and 33 kDa. And the ubiquitination form will be 38-43 kDa.
