- Sujet
- Background: PPP4R1 is a regulatory subunit associated with the PP4 serine/threonine protein phosphatase catalytic subunit PPP4C. PPP4C is structurally related to PP2AC but does not associate with the same regulatory subunits. PPP4C associates with either the PPP4R1 or PPP4R2 regulatory subunit. The PPP4C/PPP4R1 phosphatase has been demonstrated to co-purify with histone deacetylase HDAC and regulate its activity.
