- Sujet
- Background: Hepatocyte growth factor-regulated tyrosine kinase substrate (HRS) is an endosomal protein that participates in the trafficking and sorting of proteins to degradative or recycling pathways. HRS can bind ubiquitin directly and plays a key role in sorting ubiquitinated proteins to lysosomes. HRS has also been demonstrated to regulate protein sorting independent of its ubiquitin-binding motif.
