- Sujet
- Background: NASP (Nuclear Autoantigenic Sperm Protein) is a component of a multichaperone nucleosome-remodeling complex that shuttles histones and coordinates their deposition in new nucleosomes. NASP functions as an H1 histone chaperone that transports H1 histones into the nucleus and exchanges H1 histones with DNA. NASP has been demonstrated to be required for DNA replication and cell cycle progression.
