Also activates JAK2 (By similarity). Implicated in the development of the hematopoietic system.Tissue specificity: Expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, kidney and adult and fetal liver. Primarily expressed in dendrites and monocytes. Weakly expressed in T-cells.
