Background: C-X-C motif chemokine 13(CXCL13), also known as B lymphocyte chemoattractant(BLC), is a protein that in humans is encoded by theCXCL13 gene. CXCL13 is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family, and it was located on sequence maps to 4q21, near the genes encoding most CXC chemokines. In T-lymphocytes, CXCL13 expression is thought to reflect a germinal center origin of the T-cell. Hence, expression of CXCL13 in T-cell lymphomas, such as Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma, is thought to reflect a germinal center origin of the neoplastic T-cells
Gene Name: CXCL13
Production: Natural and recombinant human CXCL13. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins.
Standard: Expression system for standard: E.coli, Immunogen sequence: V23-R94

Application Note: Useful in Sandwich ELISA for Quantitative Detection of Antigen. Aliquot 0.1 mL per well of the 1000pg/mL, 500pg/mL, 250pg/mL, 125pg/mL, 62.5pg/mL, 31.2pg/mL, 15.6pg/mL human CXCL13 standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1 mL of the sample diluent buffer into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1 mL of each properly diluted sample of human cell culture supernates, serum, plasma(heparin, EDTA) or saliva to each empty well. It is recommended that each human CXCL13 standard solution and each sample be measured in duplicate.
