This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Fbxo32 Antibody. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Fbxo32 is a substrate recognition component of a (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. It probably recognizes and binds to phosphorylated target proteins during skeletal muscle atrophy.
