Blocking Peptide (BP), Western Blotting (WB)
Attributs du produit
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PIGO antibody (Catalog #: ARP50093_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

Sujet
PIGO is a protein that is involved in glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchor biosynthesis. The GPI-anchor is a glycolipid which contains three mannose molecules in its core backbone. The GPI-anchor is found on many blood cells and serves to anchor proteins to the cell surface. PIGO is involved in the transfer of ethanolaminephosphate (EtNP) to the third mannose in GPI.This gene encodes a protein that is involved in glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchor biosynthesis. This protein is involved in the transfer of ethanolaminephosphate (EtNP) to the third mannose in GPI. At least two alternatively spliced transcripts encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
