- MEK2 pS222-pS226 is a recombinant protein containing a polyhistidine tag expressed in Sf9. This protein is expressed in the presense of constitutively active B-raf (V600E) leading to high levels of phosphorylation of MEK2 activation residues S222 and S226. Analysis by SDS-PAGE resulted in a pattern consistent with purified MEK2 and was estimated to be greater than 95% pure.

Application Note: MEK2 pS222-pS226 is an activated recombinant protein suitable as a control for polyclonal or monoclonal anti-MEK2 in immunological assays. Activated MEK1 can be used in vitro to phosphorylate ERK protein. For western blot use at 50 ng or less. For other assays concentration is user optimized.
