- Indications d'application
- Protein G Peroxidase is a useful reagent in Western Blotting and ELISA experiments. Protein G Peroxidase can be utilized as a pseudo-secondary detection reagent when used in conjunction with an IgG-based primary antibody and appropriate substrate (such as TMB-1000 or Femtomax-110). Protein GA Peroxidase is stable at 4° C until restored, at which point it is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20° C.

Protein G is a surface protein of two groups of Streptococcal bacteria that has the ability to bind immunoglobulins. Similar to Protein A, but with slightly different specificity, Protein G is an important agent in the purification of proteins due to its ability to bind the Fc region. Protein G also binds to albumin. Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is an enzyme that utilize organic peroxide compounds as electron donors. Naturally provides protection for plants against pathogens, but can be utilized in molecular biology to convert various substrates to detectable compounds (such as in Western Blotting and ELISAs).
Synonyms: HRP, peroxidase, Horseradish peroxidase protein G
