After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. This fraction was solid-phase absorbed to make it mu chain specific and immunoaffinity purified from a human IgM immunoabsorbant.
Purification
egg yolk-derived purified IgY, affinity purified
Immunogène
Chickens were immunized with highly purified, pooled normal human IgM.

Indications d'application
The anti-Human IgM reacts only with IgM by IEP and double immunodiffusion analysis. It is suitable for ELISA and blotting applications. Optimal working dilutions should be worked out for your particular assay conditions.

Précaution d'utilisation
WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
